Horseracing TV Headed To Pimlico For Onsite Coverage Of Preakness Week

DAILY COVERAGE DEBUTS ON THURSDAY, MAY 15

     BALTIMORE, MD. 05-13-08 -- After a week of comprehensive Kentucky Derby coverage from Churchill Downs, HorseRacing TV (TM) (HRTV) will take its show on the road again for the second leg of racing's Triple Crown when it presents live onsite three-day coverage of the events surrounding the 133rd Preakness Stakes from Pimlico, beginning on Thursday, May 15.

     HRTV's Preakness Week coverage, which will be presented by Xpressbet.com, Twinspires.com, and Claiborne Farm, will be anchored by Laffit Pincay III, Jeff Siegel, and Millie Ball. The network's daily coverage will begin during its "RaceDay America" show, which begins each race day at Noon ET/9 a.m. PT and emanates from HRTV's California studio.   

    "RaceDay America" will have a special start time of 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT on Saturday, May 17.

    With the onsite presence at Pimlico, racing fans will be afforded unparalleled daily racing updates as impressive Derby winner, Big Brown, figures to take on many new foes after his powerful victory in the 134th "Run for the Roses."

    HRTV's daily coverage from Pimlico will include coverage of each race from Old Hilltop, timely interviews with the key connections of Preakness contenders, the latest workouts for Preakness entrants, as well as expert analysis from the network's onsite experts.

    The Preakness will also be the topic of HRTV's "Across the Board" on Friday, May 16.  Recapturetheglory's co-owner and trainer Louis J. Roussel III will be the guest.  Roussel won the 1988 Preakness and Belmont Stakes with champion Risen Star.  "Across the Board" with Roussel will premiere at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
