2014 SEASON: ranked sixth in Maryland with 39 winners…Miss Bullistic captured the Selima Stakes…had nine turf victories during the Laurel Park fall meet with an average win ticket of $21.16… barn earned a career-best $2 million.

 

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: saddled Done Talking to a 14th place finish in the 2012 Kentucky Derby (G1) after winning the Illinois Derby (G3)…second or third in the Maryland trainer standings for four consecutive years (1998-2001)…shared the 2007 Laurel summer meet title… won three consecutive stakes in 1999 with Gin Talking, including the Md. Million Lassie and Md. Juvenile Filly championship…won four stakes races with Case Of The Blues in 2000…Blind Date won three stakes in Maryland in 2009 and the Virginia Oaks (G3)…Blind Date also won the 2010 Md. Million Distaff…has saddled three winners in the Md. PERSONAL: credits his brother Franklin and the South Carolina training center as a key to his success…another brother John was a jockey in the late 40’s and early 50’s.
