2010 SEASON: won six races at Laurel Park after downsizing his stable.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: led the nation in victories in 2008 with a career-best 234 and was 11th in earnings (career-high $3.3 million)… won seven races on May 9, 2008, including four at Pimlico with four different trainers…his biggest score was claiming Shake You Down from the Laurel barn of Luigi Gino in 2003 and watched the horse blossom into one of the best sprinters in the country under the tutelage of trainer Scott Lake, winning three graded races and finishing in the money in a pair of Grade I’s (second in Breeders’ Cup Sprint and third in De Francis Dash)… topped the Maryland standings in 2006 with 49 victories with an impressive 42.2% winning percentage and ranked third among the nations leaders in wins (190) and was 10th in earnings with $3.1 million…topped the Maryland standings for fourth consecutive years (2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009)…won 38 races from 112 starts at the major Maryland tracks in 2009, an impressive 33.9% win rate…finished first in the local standings in 2007 with 33 victories, including the Maryland Million Turf Sprint with Happy Surprise…overall ranked third among the nations leaders in wins (159) and was 15th in earnings ($2.7 million)…tied for second among Maryland owners in 2001 with 32 victories… in 2001 his horses won at a 28% clip and finished in the money 104 times in 190 starts (65%)…ranked among the nations leaders in wins and earnings in 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
