BALTIMORE – Kentucky Derby (G1) runner-up Journalism was installed as the 8-5 morning-line favorite in a field of nine 3-year-olds entered for Saturday’s 150th running of the Preakness Stakes (G1) at Pimlico Race Course after drawing Post 2 during Monday evening’s post-position draw at the Guinness Open Gate Brewery.

Preakness 150 Partners with Equine MediRecord and Business Infusions to Digitize Equine Welfare Protocols

BALTIMORE – 1/ST has announced they will again be partnering with Irish technology company, Equine MediRecord (EMR) and their group Business Infusions (BI) to digitize equine welfare protocols for Preakness 150. This added measure will enhance the stringent equine health and safety protocols that will be in place for the race at Pimlico Race Course on Saturday, May 17th. To make the process even easier EMR representatives will be onsite to help log each horse’s information into the EMR system with their representatives.
