Ravens Kicker Justin Tucker Helps Kick Off Preakness Festivities At Pimlico

BALTIMORE, 04-04-14---Baltimore Ravens All-Pro kicker Justin Tucker helped kick off Preakness festivities with a series of humorous social media commercials that debuted earlier today.  In the first video https://youtu.be/qdHJGq29kaU, Tucker causes trouble at Pimlico Race Course and has to relinquish his tickets to the 139th running of the $1.5 million Preakness Stakes (G1), the middle jewel of racing’s Triple Crown, which will be held Saturday, May 17.

“The Preakness last year was a total blast,” said Tucker, who has made 92% of his field goal attempts during his two year NFL career. “It is not just a race, it is a big party. There are a lot of different things going on from the infield to the grandstand. It was definitely fun to be a part of.”

Fans have a chance to win Tucker’s tickets by submitting a creative picture or video to the Preakness InfieldFest Instagram @Infieldfest, using #Shameless4IFF, for the chance to score the tickets. The first place finisher will receive four tickets to the new Mug & Vine section. The second and third place finishers each earn two Infieldfest tickets.

“Justin was gracious enough to help us promote Preakness and he really had fun,” Maryland Jockey Club president Tom Chuckas said. “We look forward to having Justin and many of his Ravens teammates out here next month to enjoy the day.”

2014 Preakness InfieldFest will be headlined by Grammy winner Lorde. Switchfoot, Eli Young Band, Sundy Best and Go Go Gadjet will perform on the Jägermeister stage. Additional information can be found on www.preakness.com.
