Stronach 5 to be Featured Weekly on InTheMoneyPodcast.com

LAUREL, MD –The Stronach 5, a fast-paced, national wager featuring Thoroughbred racing every Friday from as many as four Stronach Group tracks, will be the subject of a new weekly show on In the Money Media Network beginning Thursday, Feb. 6.

The Stronach 5 In The Money Players’ Podcast, hosted by Jonathan Kinchen and Peter Thomas Fornatale, will educate horseplayers on handicapping fundamentals and value-oriented ticket construction.

Weekly shows will be posted by 2 p.m. each Thursday at InTheMoneyPodcast.com and will be available on iTunes and other major podcast distributors.

Players can find weekly entries, updates, results and additional handicapping tools on twitter @1stBet #Stronach5.

Since debuting in September of 2018, the Stronach 5 has consistently provided bettors with an excellent return on investment.

"We believe that the Stronach 5 is the best bet in racing," said co-host Jonathon Kinchen. "The low takeout and the $1 minimum are a breath of fresh air for horseplayers, and the pacing and variety of the bet add to the entertainment value."

Said co-host Peter Thomas Fornatale, "This show will afford us an opportunity to go deep into concepts like ticket construction, bankroll management, and creating efficient wagers."

This week’s Stronach 5 features races from Laurel Park, Santa Anita Park, Gulfstream Park and Golden Gate Fields. The five-race sequence kicks off at Laurel 3:50 p.m. and will feature a $100,000 guaranteed pool and industry-low 12-percent takeout.

The minimum wager on the multi-race, multi-track Stronach 5 is $1. If there are no tickets with five winners, the entire pool will be carried over to the next Friday.

If a change in racing surface is made after the wagering closes, each selection on any ticket will be considered a winning selection. If a betting interest is scratched, that selection will be substituted with the favorite in the win pool when wagering closes.

The Maryland Jockey Club serves as host of the Stronach 5.
