$100,000 Guaranteed Pool, Free Past Performances, Industry-Low 12-Percent Takeout
Races from Laurel Park and Gulfstream Park

LAUREL, MD – The Stronach 5, featuring a $100,000 guaranteed pool, will feature races from Laurel Park and Gulfstream Park Friday afternoon with the last two legs on the turf.

The sequence kicks off at Laurel at 5:05 p.m. with a field of 10 3-year-olds and up going 5 ½ furlongs. Friday’s Stronach 5 will wrap up with a field of 10 starter optional claimers going a mile on the turf at Laurel and a field of nine claimers going 5 ½ furlongs on the turf at Gulfstream.

• Leg One – Laurel Park 8th Race: (10 entries, 5 ½ furlongs) 5:05 ET, 2:05 PT
• Leg Two –Laurel Park 9th Race: (10 entries, 6 furlongs) 5:38 ET, 2:38 PT
• Leg Three –Gulfstream Park 8th Race: (9 entries, one mile) 5:57 ET, 2:57 PT
• Leg Four – Laurel Park 10th Race: (10 entries, one mile turf) 6:10 ET, 3:10 PT
• Leg Five –Gulfstream Park 9th Race: (9 entries, 5 furlongs turf) 6:29 ET, 3:29 PT

The minimum wager on the multi-race, multi-track Stronach 5 is $1. If there are no tickets with five winners, the entire pool will be carried over to the next Friday.

If a change in racing surface is made after the wagering closes, each selection on any ticket will be considered a winning selection. If a betting interest is scratched, that selection will be substituted with the favorite in the win pool when wagering closes.
